Your kitchen sink is the place where you clean your dishes, clean up the mess, prepare your meals. But the main question is how often do you clean your sink? Probably once a while, but as much as having a clean kitchen and fresh vegetables are important, it is as well important to keep your sink clean as it is directly related to your health and hygiene.

According to most of the researchers, the kitchen sink serves most of the illness-causing diseases. coli, salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus are the kind of diseases that can easily spread to your hands or even food. We guess these reasons are more than enough for you to clean the sink after each and every use.

So make things easy for you and for your understanding we will write down the whole process of cleaning the sink into how to clean a stainless steel and porcelain kitchen sink and how to clean a stone sink.

HOW TO CLEAN A SINK

There are mostly two types of sink that people normally have in their kitchen and that is a stone sink and a stainless steel & porcelain kitchen sink.

STEEL SINK & PORCELAIN KITCHEN SINK.

You can either go through with this process where you need to add baking soda to the bottom of the sink and wet the entire surface with warm water. A beautiful, even paste will form as you rub the baking soda into the sink's bottom. The alkali nature of baking soda will assist in removing food particles, soap scum, and stains from the sink.

Then the next step is to use some of the paste you've made to scrub caulk sealant into the sink's caulk seal, around the faucet, and under the rubber drain flaps (this area can get very dirty, so you should do it last). You should frequently rinse your scrub brush and, if needed, apply more baking soda.

When that is accomplished, use warm water to rinse the entire sink. Pour some vinegar or antibacterial soap in the sink and use a scrub brush to work it into the surface. After letting it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, rinse it off with hot water. Next, clean the sink with a dry microfiber cloth.

Or if you don't want to go through this long process there is a 2 min process where you don't need to have too many things just one thing. That is Doodo dishwashing liquid and that's all. Doodo dishwashing liquid doesn't just help you clean dishes properly, but it also helps you clean your sink in a more hygienic and clean way.

STONE KITCHEN SINK

When it comes to cleaning your stone kitchen sink, you should refrain from using strong chemicals if your kitchen sink is made of stone. Sinks made of stone composite are porous, allowing the liquid to be absorbed. Therefore, you should steer clear of anything that could harm the sink by being absorbed into it. You may clean these sinks in the same way you would a copper sink. Use warm water and a mild antibacterial dish soap to clean it. After that, use a microfiber towel to pat it dry you can either go ahead with this process

Or else you can use our Doodoo dishwashing bar, as using chemicals on a stone kitchen sink is not recommended, so we would suggest you to use our Doodo dishwashing bar and warm water to clean your sink.
